Dang this is sad! Live like every day is your last! At least they were hunting and not working!

Hopefully it was instant and they didn't feel anything.

What a truly powerful memorial for Charlie yesterday! So much spirit, love and hope! I was reminded what a failed Christian I am when Erika forgave Tyler Robinson! That was the most powerful statement I have heard a person say ever! I know many of our “political” enemies watched that yesterday and I believe that it touched some! Thank you Charlie, Erika, the 2 children that will never know their father and Charlie’s parents for sacrificing for this divine intervention that this world needed badly!

They definitely woke up a sleeping giant. Charley's passing has brought so many together towards faith and truth.

Heck, thats the trick to most of the October cow hunts ....You can pretty often get a shock bugle while its still dark to locate the herd

This gun was set up at Thompson’s long range shot out to 1000 yards. The gun is a vanguard 6.5-300 in first light fusion with a cerokoated barrel. The scope is a leupold 4-14 custom built with hash marks out to 1000 yards. I’ve taken 2 animals with it 1 at 604 and one at 519. This gun is a shooter and completely ready to hunt with. Will come with 2 boxes of ammo. $1300

My boy received an opportunity to hunt bison on a big ranch in Texas and it was to cheap to pass. Beautiful oak covered hill country, rich with big whitetails and all sorts of other exotics that cross between these large low fence ranches. Once we found the herd it was about an hour of cat and mouse until he got a clean shot on one of the bigger cows. Not a hard hunt but just a cool experience! Our friends from Texas joined us and helped with the butchering. Ranch house we stayed in was built in mid 1800’s and had been burned twice in conflicts with the Indians nearly 150 years ago. Can’t wait to try the meat. Left it with a processor out there and they are aging it 10 days for best flavor and tenderness. The coat on this cow was perfect! Should make a great rug.

Before and after an art show in Estes Park, Colorado, I was able to spend several days photographing the moose, elk, deer and landscapes. Here are a few of the moose which the lens encountered. Fuji GFX 100s with adapted Nikon 200-500.
