I've got one. He came out of San Diego where he was 86'd for hating. Wish I knew his breeders, would love another one. Good luck

Kaibab hunt sounds like a nightmare with the guides that think they own the buffalo. AZGFD really needs to do something about those clowns.

Also, they receive a generous portion of the heritage fund - which is based on all the lottery tickets sold each year.

The WY prices increases do seem steep IMO! Maybe AZGFD doesn't get general AZ tax money, but Pittman Robertson is general federal funding IMO, along with federal grants some years, they do have multiple sources of income...it may not be enough, but I'm just saying...

Russ at best is ok. I speak from my own experience and dealings with. He does have most of that area on lockdown. With or without cameras the time and his crew spend up there along with the amount of blinds and salt he has I dont think he really needs cameras to know the Buffaloes pattern moving off the park. The coop isn’t a bad gig but know that the paid clients get the “good spots” and you will be sent else where. Its hunting you never know but it helps to know they are hitting a particular area or salt and that’s where his clients will be. I started in the coop and then a few of us decided it wasn’t for us. The 3 of us killed Bulls. I’ve read quite a few posts before and after my hunt with guys talking about not putting in up there cause of the BS! I say thx cause I/family/friends will take the tag. If you can hunt and you hunt your way you will get your chance at a Bull/Cow. It’s your tag don’t allow any guide up there to dictate where you go or how you should hunt and be respectful to the other hunters you will be successful. In the beginning the Buffalo on the plateau usually come off the park in a pattern based on snow melt and the want/need for salt. I had this hunt a few years ago and have been apart of a hunt one way or another every year since . There is more salt in areas then they are marked on maps you’ll see unless you pay to play. There are shenanigans that do go on up there while your not looking but if you put in the work you’ll get it done. Take a lot of pics during the hunt and with your bull! good luck

Of course he doesn’t. It’s just the normal comment. There is always a little misspending but tell me how many fishing licenses they have to sell just to fill one truck with gas? Three or four? For not getting general tax money I have no idea how they make ends meet. Then talk about 50k trucks.

Could be wrong but SF060 failed to pass for now.

If that is non-res prices, I am good with it. You SHOULD have to pay a premium to hunt out of state. If those are resident prices, that sucks. I do think AGFD is severely underfunded and also there is a lot of pork that could be trimmed to help them with their budget. Recruiting quality Game managers is tough with the salary they make and the schooling required. We could easily use double the fish cops we have right now and you still would rarely get checked in the field.

Thanks y’all. For that one i did a first coat of minwax provincial left on for about a minute or two then wiped off to dry. Second small coat of minwax poly-satin pecan stain around the brow tine to burr with a small paint brush and left on, then a small coat of minwax early american from the burr to a quarter of the way up the beam as a final coat with a small brush as well. I usually wipe this coat after about 30 mins with a large brush to get a nice natural blend. Ive been fortunate enough to have plenty of practice deadheads. Some others ive only done 1 coat or two. Heres what those ended up like.
