A lot of projections for Powell this year are around a 70’ rise. If it did rise 70’ it would still be under 50% of full capacity. I believe it would be somewhere around 46% of capacity. Although still far from full 70’ rise would be huge! Full capacity is 3700’ elevation and right now it’s below 3550’ still a believe.

Were they in a safe, or just laying around. Just curious and sorry you got these stolen that would be a hard pill to swallow.

That whiskey bottle has the kick.up.bottom. very collectable. I found one near Ft Bowie in the 60s.

Found a Prescott az bottle foundry coca cola circa 1920s in 17a and what I believe is a early champagne or beer bottle on a foundation project on Montezuma street in historic whiskey row.

While tearing down a fireplace and chimney, I found lots of old news papers from the late 30's and up to 1941. It was common to use the paper for insulation. Best article I saw was titled "Television could be the next big thing" . Of course the adds for stores and prices really interested my Children. We had two houses near south mountain that were built between 1937 and 1943. the cement block was made on site. If you've ever been to Fat man Pass on south mountain. That was my next door neighbor. of course today we would call it morbidly obese persons pass. Still have a lot of those papers.

I hit a bad hail storm on the 180 heading northwest out of Flagstaff yesterday. I pulled over and drove my truck into a thicket of pines because I was afraid the pea-sized hail would turn into quarter sized hail! No damage to truck, but I decided I'd shoot my bow another time and went home. Ground was white like it had just snowed after. Sure wish I'd paid attention to the forecast! I figured it'd just be some occasional showers. Lol

I'm calling for a cooler, wet summer. Hopefully that trend will continue and the climate alarmist will have $5 a dozen egg on their face.

Found at an old hidden mining camp. It was wedged into a rock protected crevice. Im guessing about 100 years old and held about 1/2 gallon.
