Man what a blessed week! To have the opportunity to go to desert. Have you guys seen the desert lately? So beautiful! Beautiful weather! And to have the ability to harvest a beautiful buck, man I'm...I have no words, I'm just so thankful! Then I go to one of the metro units and took a javalina with my bow! Wow! Happy Birthday to me I guess! Thank you Lord for the opportunity and the ability!

Almost all areas where the cranes feed, and spend their time in southeastern Arizona are private lands or state trust lands farmed and cultivated by private ranches or landowners. As such, hunters MUST plan to coordinate access with private farms and individuals. If you are unwilling to talk to landowners ahead of the hunts, you should not apply for these hunts. Sounds like it's landowners not land leasers. State law is any land must be posted no trespassing correctly. Kent

Killing stuff isn't a game or sport, it's killing... the easier to kill something the better. Kent

Well deserved Ernesto. I know how hard you hunted over the years for a buck like this. That big smile says it all.

Watched the video. Interesting that the hunters came up with a new plan for day 2 to spread out more over the area the birds were moving through. Shouldn't the "guides" have come up with this plan before the hunters showed up, especially if not using decoys or blinds? Definitely did not see much service for the money. A morning of scouting could have gotten you everything the guides did for you on the first 2 days. Definitely a bumber situation.

Not much to say about this hunt. We found him 500-600 yards out. Waited for him to bed. Snuck up to 180. He stood up and my father in law knocked him back down again. Tagged out and back to the truck by noon. Here’s a hot take for ya tagging out on opening morning is overrated.

I love my tascos, the foginess helps me kill smaller animals which are so much more tender.

Totally different from a gun. Sucks to loose stuff for sure but a firearm is a different ballgame.

Don’t shy away from the off brand cheap ones on Amazon. I don’t spend a lot on rangefinders anymore I seem to lose them. I have an 800 yard and was ranging 850 in 36B this year. Think I paid $70 on Amazon

I would suggest this false statement be removed.

I mean they’re also convicted poachers so don’t book with them period

They have always had a bad wrap for Crane. Use HiLo if you get drawn for crane. Great blinds, literally over 100 decoys, great calling!
